Day one
  • Welcome reception.
  • Settling in.
  • Restorative yoga session.
  • Dinner in the garden.
  • Free time for walks, writing, etc.
  • Evening meditation.
Day 2
  • Morning meditation and Yoga session.
  • Breakfast.
  • Exploring the area (walk or bicycle one of the loops or go into Saint Pardoux)
  • 1:00 p.m. Lunch at Le Maraval.
  • Free time or sightseeing.
  • Yoga session.
  • Dinner in the garden.
  • Free time or evening entertainment, movies, games, etc.
Day 3 -6
Follows the same schedule with options for packed lunches for those wishing to go off sightseeing.
Transportation to all sites will be provided.
Food
Carefully prepared Mediterranean, vegetarian cuisine made with fresh, locally grown ingredients. A non-vegetarian option is available.

Rejuvenation and Health Retreat

Spend a week in the glorious Dordogne, learning to cook delicious vegetarian and vegan meals, hiking, biking and touring the countryside with your hosts Dr. Paul and Jacqueline Farley.
Jacqueline has cooked for many retreat centers including Harbin Hot Springs, Tassajara Zen Mountain Centre, San Francisco Zen Centre, Mt Cobb Sai Sho zen-ji, Four Springs Guild for Psychological Studies, The Transcendental Meditation Centre, Karen Kingston’s Feng Shui trainings in the US at at Oxon Hoath UK and Saratoga Springs resort California.
Dr. Paul Farley is a triathlete who is passionate about good nutrition and promoting a healthy lifestyle as preventative medicine.

Jacqueline Farley was born in England. She holds a BA in the Performing Arts (majoring in dance) and received her post graduate certificate in Education (English and Drama) from Goldsmith’s College, London University. She continued her studies at The University of Hertfordshire in Drama therapy and worked in schools, colleges and hospitals running creative groups and teaching yoga. She now resides in the United States with her husband and son and teaches at a private Buddhist school where she recently completed her Masters in Buddhist Education. She has been a student and practitioner of Zen Buddhism since 1975 and has trained as a vegetarian cook in monastic settings and has worked as a cook for many meditation and yoga and Feng Shui training retreats.
