Length of rental
The apartment in the 6th arrondissement of Paris is rented @ 1650 Euros per week. Credit cards accepted. (+5 % credit card processing fee).
Check in time is to be arranged with our caretaker, and check out time is 10:00 AM. Earlier check out times can be arranged.
The house in Dordogne, Le Maraval is rented by the week @ 1200 Euros per week. (+5% credit card processing fee).
Check in time is 3:00 pm or later, and check out time is 11:00 am. Earlier check out times can be arranged.
1) Reservation deposit: 50% of the rent is payable on booking. A reservation is only effective and confirmed when this payment has been received, along with the signed rental agreement. For credit cards 5% service charge will be added.
2) Balance of payment: The balance of rent must be paid at least 4 weeks before the start of the rental period. If the balance is not received by the due date, we may cancel the booking without issuing a cancellation charge and retain the reservation deposit. For bookings made within 4 weeks of the rental period, the full cost of the rental is due at the time of reservation.
3) Refundable security deposit:
A refundable security deposit of 500 Euros cash (800 Euros for Le Maraval) is due on arrival, to cover any damage and/or deterioration caused by the Client. The security deposit can also be sent to France Insiders by check for an equivalent amount in dollars, or paid by credit card. In the case of a security deposit paid by credit card, a 40 Euros service charge will be added. There will be a higher security deposit for stays longer than one week. The security deposit for Le Maraval is 800 Euros. The deposit is refundable on check-out after inventory check. The Client shall advise us of any damages before departure. Missing items will be deducted from the security deposit. Our guests can also send us a check in us dollars before arriving in destination.
4) Payment methods:
Payments are to be made by bank wire transfer, credit card, or paypal. Bank charges, such as wire transfer fees or currency exchange fees are payable by the client.
5) Utility charges:
There is no extra charge for electricity, gas and telephone for stays of less than a month. For stays of a month or more, electricity, gas will be charged according to actual consumption. Calls toward the USA are free.
In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with 4 weeks or more prior warning, 50% of the booking deposit is reimbursed. The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 4 weeks of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. If the Client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate. As a precautionary measure, we recommend that the Client purchase a trip cancellation insurance policy to cover the booking. Though it is unlikely to happen, we may be forced to cancel the reservation for reasons beyond our control. In this case, all moneys paid by the Client will be reimbursed by France Insiders.
7) Living policy:
The number of persons occupying the property may under no circumstances exceed that specifically agreed upon at the time of reservation and specified on this contract. Neither animals nor smoking are allowed, unless by prior written agreement. No children younger than 14 years of age.
8) Force Majeure:
France Insiders has no control over and cannot be held responsible for events such as transit strikes, weather related problems, heat or electrical outages in the building including internet and telephony, etc.
We reserve the right to carry out urgent work in the apartment (agreed to with the Client) without affecting the rental price. The Client agrees to allow us access to the apartment with prior notice of at least one day (except in cases of emergency) in order to accomplish these tasks. The Client agrees to comply with the proper usage of the property and its facilities.
For any complaints regarding the property by the Client, we must be notified within 24 hours of the occurrence during the term of a booking.
The rental Agreement is governed by the laws and courts of the Tribunal de Paris.
