NOVEMBER 7 – 14, 2017
Persepolis CUCINA is offering us a rare opportunity ! Discovering the ancient and new dishes of the Mediterranean cultures.
A bit of history…
It’s useless to try to find the birthdate of these tasty treats, as useless to try to find the geographical origins of them… These cuisines were born out of the East-West encounters, from Spain, the North African coasts to the high plateaus of the MiddleEast. It is a cuisine of integration and fusion of the cultures, peoples, colors, tastes and flavors. It is a cuisine of aspiration and discovery, using the typical resources of the Mediterranean, olives, legumes, fresh herbs, wine and introducing them to the Eastern flavors of cardamon, turmeric, safran, cumin, curry, cinnamon… creating a cuisine with a strong and specific identity, because daughter of the tradition, but also a cuisine of celebration of the glorious encounters of all the resources that many countries have to offer, not only for the feeding of the body, but for health and total well-being.
PERSEPOLIS CUCINA will offer cooking demonstrations and hands on experience, using only local and organic ingredients, bought fresh in the farmer’s market.
We will have 5 demonstrations followed by tasting and 4 hands-on.
Vegetarians versions will be available.
Price 900 € per participant
